"September 9th, 2022 marks the release of the debut album from El Toro. The trio of Nick Hunt (guitar, vocals), Ben Button (bass, vocals), and Adam Power (drums, vocals) have had us in suspense after the release of the exceptional singles "Fear Change" and "Coors Light". Now that the self-titled album is out it's clear the group had more in them then just a couple tracks.

What El Toro has for us is 9 tracks of their sublime pairing of emo and alternative rock. A dynamic and emotionally intense listening experience that consistently delivers catchy, memorable songs. The twinkly guitar riffs, tight rhythm section, and three musicians that sound great both together and on their own make for an immensely enjoyable listen.

El Toro's debut effort is a fantastic one that I would highly recommend. Another solid release for St. John’s growing alternative/punk scene". - James Titford
